 I am looking to partner with you to help explore new options, update your coping skills or to help you through unusually difficult life conditions. Being human can present a person with “tangled” vulnerabilities and or symptoms that can create psychological and real life repercussions or grief. No need to go it alone. I will begin our work together with an intake assessment that will help me gather essential information about your background and overall functioning and perspective. Then I will follow up with an assessment of symptoms to set a baseline for us. I will assist you with approaches to treatment that are based on the best available scientific evidence- modalities and interventions. Then, I will ask you to engage in self-monitoring and homework between counseling sessions. As you make progress, we will assess again so you can see the benefits of the interventions and your effort. I want to help you develop healthier, more effective habits. Some of the areas I can help you with include:

Anxiety and stress management: I can help you develop strategies to manage and reduce anxiety and stress in your life such as learning emotion regulation skills, mindfulness exercises, cognitive restructuring and relaxation techniques.

Depression and mood disorders: I can assist you in understanding and managing your symptoms including exploring underlying causes and developing coping mechanisms.

Grief and loss: I can help you process and cope with the loss of a loved one, a relationship, or any other significant loss in your life. We will explore healthy ways to grieve and find meaning in your experience.

Life transitions and adjustments: I can provide support during major life changes, such as moving, starting a new job, or going through a divorce. We will work on adapting to these changes and building resilience.

Trauma and PTSD: I can help you process and heal from traumatic experiences. We will start with making sense of the bewildering symptoms you may experience and then you will learn to apply skills to manage the symptoms.

Self-concept and self-worth: I can assist you in building a positive self-image and improving your self confidence. We will work on challenging negative self-talk and developing self-compassion.

My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where we can work together towards your wellbeing- getting back in your flow. I will use a collaborative approach, where we will tailor the treatment to your specific needs and goals.
